The Artist Incubator Scheme is designed to support access to artistic practice, because we understand more than anyone that not every artist has the space to dance, sing or create at home.

We are proud to offer affordable support to artists who need somewhere to dance, sing, film self-tapes, or develop independently.

However, as a social enterprise, our studio hires directly fund opportunities for young people, so we ask all users to engage with the scheme honestly and in the spirit intended. ​

This is a scheme to support individuals and is not designed  to provide heavily discounted rehearsal space for productions or projects.

- 10am - 1pm or 3pm - 6pm Monday to Friday

- Max of three people per studio

- Minimum two hour booking

1. Eligibility: What the Artist Incubator Scheme Is For
    

The Artist Incubator Scheme is strictly for:
 

• Personal practice

• Individual development

• Self-tapes

• Portfolio work

• Independent artistic exploration
  It is designed to support artists who would otherwise struggle to access affordable rehearsal space.
   

2. What Is Not Permitted Under This Scheme
 

The following are not eligible under the Artist Incubator Scheme:
 

• Rehearsals for any specific, funded, commissioned, or paid project – please note this also includes unpaid R&D towards a specific piece. 

• Rehearsals where anyone is being paid to attend, teach, direct, coach, or assist

• Classes, workshops, training sessions, or tuition

• Any activity where participants are charged

• Any commercial activity or income-generating rehearsal

• Social events, parties, or gatherings

• Auditions, castings, or open calls
   

If your activity involves any exchange of money, funding, payment, commercial backing, or financial gain connected to the work being created or rehearsed, it is not eligible for the Artist Incubator rate.

The Artist Incubator Scheme operates on trust. Misuse of the scheme will result in retrospective full hire charges and removal from future bookings.
