For Schools

The Boury Academy works in partnership with schools across Lambeth to deliver high-quality performing arts experiences that support both learning and wellbeing.

Our team of experienced practitioners can deliver curriculum-based drama, dance and singing lessons, as well as creative workshops, performance projects and enrichment programmes.

 

We work closely with schools to design programmes that fit their needs, whether that is supporting the curriculum, developing confidence and communication skills, or using the performing arts as a tool for wellbeing and engagement.

Our work is rooted in trauma-informed practice and an understanding that creativity can play a powerful role in supporting emotional wellbeing, resilience and self-expression. Alongside work with students, we also offer CPD opportunities for school staff and workshops focused on wellbeing through the performing arts.

​

We also run popular after-school clubs and performance projects that give young people the chance to explore theatre, music and dance in a supportive and inspiring environment.

As a community interest company, our aim is always to make high-quality arts provision accessible and practical for schools. Our programmes are designed to be flexible, affordable and impactful, bringing experienced industry practitioners directly into the classroom.
